Want to learn how to cook like a Croatian Chef? Attending our Cooking Classes you will be introduced with traditional Croatian cuisine, and learn how to cook following old family recipes using fresh seasonal organic ingredients purchased from local farms. In addition, you will master some professional culinary tricks and skills.

Learn to cook like a Croatian Baba (grandma)!

Classes are held in center of Split in a well-equipped open air teaching kitchen. Everyone from absolute beginners to advanced home cooks are welcome to learn about Croatian culture and cuisine. Come to our Cucina Mare and discover your inner chef, make new friends, share delicious food and just enjoy and have fun.

The mission is to offer our guests a beautiful experience of cooking with friends and learning more about Croatian culture and cuisine. We want to offer you a cooking experience which is informal and fun and where you will learn how to make wonderful dishes together with Chef Ćiro and his team. We want to welcome you to our house; make yourself feel relaxed just like if you were at home, whether you are alone or with your significant other, family with kids or friends. Croatia is rich in high-quality products and has a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables; its cuisine is very diverse – so much more than ćevapi and pizza. We want you to master the class with new knowledge, more experience and with a new passion for creating more beautiful dishes,

We pride ourselves in using organic fruits and vegetables from our own plots in Sabljići, a small village 80 km from Split. We also purchase our olive oil, cheese, vine and other products from authentic local producers and farmers. All our producers are as passionate as we are about the Croatian cuisine and making authentic local products.

  • Cooking class participants actively play a part in cooking, after which they sit down for a mutual meal, enjoying the fruits of their labor
  • Classes generally last four hours and have an open end to enjoy the evening together.
  • Vegan & vegetarian options are available in every class
  • Previous knowledge is not required
  • Kids under the age of 12 can participate in the classes free of charge
